Since this was sent to me am I to infer that no one else is translating VK? I thought this was being covered?

Is there no one else to do it? IF absolutely NO ONE ELSE will translate for this month, I'll step up and do it... *sigh*

I basically quit translating for this fandom because there were other people who were obviously qualified and I have personal health issues going on right now, along with translation commitments that pre-date this fandom and title, and churning out SIX titles every two weeks was getting a bit much for me, but IF there is NO ONE ELSE, I *will* translate this.

Let me know.

All the translation so far is from Chinese to English, so things could be lost in double translation. It would be preferable to have it translated directly from Japanese. If you could do it, it would be much much appreciated :D

I'll take a look at it and see if anything needs to be changed from the current English version that is out there.

You are absolutely correct when you say that translating from Japanese to Chinese to English could lead to some very serious differences, because (as a person with a degree in Linguistics and an endorsement in Hanzi character based Asian languages) the lexicography is completely different.

I'll do a little Quality Control.

Since its just a QC T/L check over, I can have it done by tonight. <3

You'd be SURPRISED how many fandoms I've translated for where no one even bothers to acknowledge the work people put into doing this FOR FREE and out of the kindness of their hearts and the love of the fandom.

YOU are awesome, and definitely deserve thanks for doing this. I'm sorry about your health problems and prior commitments; that must be difficult, especially since like you said, nobody seems to appreciate the effort that translators put into these things and give them to the fandom completely free.

Seriously. Thank you. When someone has the talent AND the desire to give back to a fandom, it makes many people very, very happy. I only wish I could help out as well, but unfortunately I know no Japanese, and it would take quite a few years for me to be able to even roughly translate. So let me just tell you a sincere thank you, and I'm sorry that others haven't taken the time to do this.

Um, is this link safe? I'm getting all kinds of security warnings and pop-ups... Have you already downloaded this without getting any malware or viruses on your computer?

Can anyone put this in a rapidshare or megaupload file?

Okay... I'm downloading it now. I'm at 45 out of 123MB... Its slow, but its working.

So long as you tested it yourself and there is nothing malicious in the file. <3

I think *I* might re-upload this to rapidshare and/or megaupload, just for other people's convenience. Even finding the 'Vampire Knight' link from raw bunker was kind of a pain and required a cntrl-f search from me, because I didn't know if it was going to be listed by the title in English or in Japanese. XD;

I searched for it in Japanese at first, and was like... WHERE IS IT? for about three minutes before I realized it was listed by the ENGLISH title. *is dumb* XD;;;

Thanks. Since its been tested by a few different people, I'm downloading the file now.

The security alerts are most likely because my hubby is a computer network security analyst so we have like... A LOT of safety measures in place, because if this network gets infected, its linked directly to his work network at IBM.
